Welcome to Saint Peter The Fisherman
We are happy to announce that the Archdiocese of Miami has reopened its churches to celebrate Masses and Sacraments with a congregation following safety precautions recommended by health authorities. Here at St. Peter we resume our Masses on May 30, Saturday Vigil. Please see the reopening guidelines below or under the News tab.
In his letter, Archbishop Thomas Wenski wrote: “we recognize that we cannot eliminate the very possible risk of infection from the novel corona virus or COVID-19. However, your parish priests and I are committed to mitigating the risk as much as possible. We reopen because we believe as Church that there are no substitutes for the reception of the sacraments and our first priority is to be the sign of hope and instrument of the salvation of the entire human race.”
If you are still unable to attend Mass due to health and other reasons, the Archbishop continues to invite you to watch Mass from many of the live-streaming links and videos available on the ADOM website, www.miamiarch.org.
If I can be of any service to you, please give me a call in the parish office at 305-872-2537.
