Thanksgiving greetings from Father Jets

Dear parishioners,

Grace and peace to you all!

On this year’s commemoration of Thanksgiving Day 2018, I share the psalmist’s gratitude to God in the Scriptures saying: “I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds” (Psalm 9:1). I thank God for all the wonderful deeds the Lord has done for you and for all your prayers and generous support to our parish here at St. Peter’s in many different ways.

This has been a year of changes and challenges, and yet we have so much to be thankful for. We have had a quiet Hurricane season here in the Keys, we have a beautiful design for our new church, our seasonal parishioners are beginning to return, our children will be returning to CCD classes soon, and most of all – our faith community remains strong and Spirit filled.

We look forward to our construction project with joyful anticipation as we get closer to watching the plans take shape.

In the words of St. John Paul II: “Remember the past with gratitude. Live the present with enthusiasm. Look forward to the future with confidence.”

May the good Lord continue to bless you and your family abundantly.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sincerely in Christ,

Father Jets

Hello Father Jets! Kumusta na po? I hope you remember Alex and me, we are so happy and surprised to find out that from being a pilot you are now a priest. We hope to get in touch with you and catch up on how the Lord has been working wonderfully in whatever state of life we belong.
